Two people were killed when a motorhome and a single trailer crashed off of the overpass near milepost 110 on Interstate 90 and into a creek at about 3:25 p.m. Monday, according to a Washington State Patrol report.
No other vehicles were involved.
Washington State Patrol trooper Brian Moore said there are two confirmed fatalities with multiple critically injured patients.
“We have Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue on scene, Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office is on scene,” Moore said. “Multiple patients going to Kittitas Valley Hospital.”
He said they are being evaluated as to where they will be transported.
There is a lane on the highway open in each direction but there is no estimated time on when the entire highway will be open, Moore said. He said it will likely be multiple hours of clean up.
