In the latest Associated Press poll released Sunday, the Washington Huskies moved up to No. 9 after demolishing Oregon 38-3. The Huskies received 1,061 votes and ranked just behind No. 8 TCU and ahead of No. 10 Auburn.
Washington is also ranked No. 8 in the Week 11 Amway Coaches Poll, moving up three spots.
The Huskies remain the highest-ranked team in the Pac-12, and its most viable College Football Playoff contender. Washington’s offense found its stride again on Saturday in the rout of the Ducks — it also held Oregon without a touchdown for the first time in 130 games.
Washington travels to Palo Alto to face unranked Stanford this Saturday for its next contest — one of the best remaining opportunities for the Huskies to show the CFP committee that they belong in the coveted playoffs.
